Vax'ildan Hooded Cloak

Somebody had mentioned they run true to size. Other 2xl were out so I ordered a 3xl as this seems the kind of thing that can be ok being larger. It definitely feels larger. I do have 2xl sweatshirts that feel smaller. As the title says, this does have some weight and doesn’t feel cheap. I think I wish the 2xl had been in stock, but I’m happy.

This cloak is thicker than I expected from the photos, but that makes it perfect for chilly days. I feel so cozy when I'm wearing this.

I'm leaving this review after seeing many people concerned about the durability. I bought this hoodie back in 2021, it's about 3 years old now.

It is incredibly durable, I wear it very frequently. The only thing that has worn down is the vibrancy of the iridescent foil. It's still visible, and still shiny, just less so. More of a shiny grey now (which I'm so fine with).

For anyone concerned about the raw edges, since they fray a bit when it first arrives, this stops completely, the edges will curl though. If this bothers you, there's plenty of material if you'd like to stitch them down. Anyone who says it's poorly made is just referring to the raw edges.

The closes thing to actually damage from wear and tear I've experienced, is the snow drop on the inside is kinda cracked.

For context, I machine wash with cold water and then hang dry it (it's never been through the dryer)

Altogether though, this is an amazing product, it's very comfortable and very durable, I would highly recommend it!

I look forward to wearing this if/when the temperatures cool down.

It's all the little details that make this sweater perfect. I sized up (I'm usually an XS, but I got a size S) and even oversized, it looks terrific. I'm soooo happy with this purchase.
