My first impression, not surprisingly, was, "Wow... this is gorgeous!" (both the book and the cards) Now that I've had a chance to read and play it, though, the visuals, as nice as they are, are secondary. This is a great game, which does a wonderful job of mixing narrative and mechanics, fluidly and seamlessly. For my group, it's just the right balance of crunch and drama. Making characters is genuinely fun, and, then, when you play them, they live up to expectations. Just plain fun!
